Hays, Kan.

The Thunder men's basketball team played their third exhibition against an NCAA Division II opponent on Saturday afternoon when they traveled to Hays, Kansas to play Fort Hays State University. The closest the Thunder would get back to the Tigers was 37-17 with 6:16 left in the half. The Tigers would take a 52-25 lead into the half. Another slow start to the second half would put the Thunder away and the Tigers would cruise to a 92-44 win. Freshman, Trayden Chambers would lead the Thunder with 12 points on 5-8 shooting from the field, while redshirt-sophomore, Peyton Torres would go 3-4 from the three-point line for nine points.
