Thunder Women's Basketball Ranked for the First Time Since 2018-19
The Thunder women's basketball team has made an appearance in the latest National Christian College Athletic Association Coaches Poll for DII Women's Basketball at #10 with an 8-10 record. This is the first time the Lady Thunder have been ranked since the 2018-19 season. They were ranked #10 in the January 22nd poll of 2019 as well. The Lady Thunder have been receiving votes to be in the Coaches Poll and have now cracked the top-10. With a total of six points, the Thunder sit directly behind Trinity College of Jacksonville who has eight points and a 8-7 record. The Thunder are one of two teams from the Midwest Christian College Conference who are ranked as Ozark Christian College is ranked at #6. The Lady Thunder will play their next game on the road against Randall University in Moore, Oklahoma on Friday, January 30th. The Lady Thunder lost to the Saints on November 4th. This game will tip-off at 4:00PM.
