Manhattan Christian College Athletics and Thunder Men's Basketball are excited to reveal the 2026-27 men's basketball schedule. Coming off their seventh consecutive Midwest Christian College Conference Regular Season Title, back-to-back MCCC Tournament Championships, and a 2026 NCCAA Central Region Tournament Championship, the Thunder men's basketball team is ready for another opportunity to defend their titles. The Thunder earned the automatic qualifier bid to the 2026 NCCAA National Tournament, but would fall in their first round game and win the consolation game to end their season. The Thunder finished the 2026-27 season with a 25-10 record and a 9-3 MCCC mark, while also having a 9-3 record against NCCAA Central Region opponents.

The 2026-27 season kicks off at the Central Christian College (KS) Classic for Christ with an October 30th matchup against the host Central Christian (KS). Their home opener will be on Saturday, November 10th against that same Central Christian (KS) team. The Thunder will host their own classic in November where they will play Oak Hills Christian College and Randall University. The MCCC opener will be at home against Emmaus University on December 4th. Some non-conference and non-region NCCAA highlighted games are another trip to the Faith Classic in Ankeny, Iowa to take on Trinity Bible College and Kuyper College, a road game at Southwestern Adventist University and lastly, a home-and-home with Randall University. The Thunder will play four NAIA teams this season with four road exhibitions against NCAA Division II opponents.

The MCCC Men's Tournament will be hosted by Ozark Christian College in Joplin, Missouri from February 18th-20th. The NCCAA Central Region Men's Tournament will be held at Union Adventist University in Lincoln, Nebraska from February 24th-26th. The NCCAA Men's National Tournament will be held in Pensacola, Florida from March 10th-13th at Pensacola Christian College.
