On a night where we honored the 2025 NCCAA Division II Volleyball National Champions by revealing their championship banner, the 2026 team would go on to dominate the visiting Randall University Saints by way of the sweep (25-15, 25-13, 25-17). The Thunder would jump out all over the Saints and never look back. The offense was led by true freshman, Jordan Miller, who record another double-double, her third in four matches, with 11 kills and 11 digs. Junior, Ellie Wilson would record a near double-double with nine kills on an efficient 0.421 hitting percentage from the outside to go along with 10 digs. Fellow junior and Manhattan native, Jayda Juenemann would chip in with six kills. Junior, Natalie Jensen and senior, Jaiden Brewer would both record four service aces each and the team would total 12 on the night. Freshman, setter, Shaliah Ensley would have 25 assists and nine digs to help the offense and defense. Every active and healthy player would play at least one set for the Thunder as well. With the dominate sweep, the Thunder now move to 3-1 on the season. 

The Thunder's next game will be at home to open NCCAA Central Region play against the Union Adventist University Warriors on Tuesday, September 8th at 6:00PM.
