After 3-1 start to the 2026 season, the Thunder volleyball team is ranked #2 in the first National Christian College Athletic Association Regular Season Coaches Poll of the season for DII Women's Volleyball. With a total of 54 points, the Thunder are below the Pensacola Christian College Eagles who are 5-0 to start 2026. Baptist University of Florida, Arlington Baptist, and Emmaus round out the top-5 in the first edition of the poll. The Thunder are one of three teams from the Midwest Christian College Conference and one of two teams from the NCCAA Central Region who are ranked in the week one poll. The Thunder play Union Adventist University tonight at 6:00PM before playing two ranked teams later in the week. The #5 ranked Emmaus University Eagles will come to town to play on Thursday, September 10th at 4:00PM and the #8 ranked Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles with head to Manhattan on Friday, September 11th at 3:00PM.
