In going 5-1 over the past two weeks and holding an 8-2 overall record, the Thunder volleyball team remains ranked in the #2 spot in the recent National Christian College Athletic Association Regular Season Coaches Poll for DII Women's Volleyball. In that two week span, the Thunder knocked off two ranked teams. With a total of 52 points, the Thunder are below the Baptist University of Florida Eagles who sit at 10-10 and knocked of the previous #1 Pensacola Christian during that two week span. Pensacola Christian, Alice Lloyd, and Arlington Baptist round out the top-5 in the second edition of the poll. The Thunder are one of three teams from the Midwest Christian College Conference and one of two teams from the NCCAA Central Region who are ranked in the week two poll. The Thunder play on the road against the #10 ranked Spurgeon College Knights tonight at 6:00PM before they play back at home on Saturday against the Calvary University Warriors.
