The Thunder men's soccer team would play back-to-back games this week with a conference/region match on Tuesday and a non-conference rematch on Wednesday. On Tuesday, the Thunder would travel to Haviland, Kansas to play the Barclay College Bears. The Thunder would fall behind early and would not be able to recover as they would drop the match, 6-0.

It would be a quick turnaround for the Thunder as they would be back on the road to play in a rematch from their first match of the season with the Bethany College Swedes. After 45 minutes, the Thunder would only trail 2-0, but the Swedes would pour in four goals in the second half to capture the victory, 6-0. With the two losses, the Thunder move to 1-6-1 overall, 1-3-1 in the MCCC, and 0-2-1 in the Central Region.

The Sons of Thunder will be back at home next week to play the Ecclesia College Royals on Tuesday, September 29th at 3:00PM at Frank Anneberg Park in Manhattan, Kansas.
