After a 3-0 record over the past two weeks and holding an 11-2 overall record, the Thunder volleyball team holds on to the #2 spot for the third consecutive week in the National Christian College Athletic Association Regular Season Coaches Poll for DII Women's Volleyball. In that two week span, the Thunder knocked off the previously #10 ranked Spurgeon College Knights and continued their regular season conference win streak. With a total of 52 points for the second straight week, the Thunder are below the Pensacola Christian College Eagles. Baptist University of Florida, Arlington Baptist, and Faith Baptist Bible round out the top-5 in the third edition of the poll. The Thunder are one of three teams from the Midwest Christian College Conference and one of two teams from the NCCAA Central Region who are ranked in the week three poll. The Thunder will play their next match on the road against the Cottey College Comets on Friday, October 9th at 4:00PM before they travel to Joplin, Missouri to play rival Ozark Christian College on Saturday.
