Manhattan Christian College Athletics has announced a role change effective Tuesday, September 1st, 2026. Assistant Athletic Director and Associate Head Men's Basketball coach, Adam Gage, will take over as the Director of Athletics at Manhattan Christian College. Gage will still be the Associate Head Men's Basketball coach while assuming Athletic Director duties. This will be Gage's four year at MCC earning a promotion in every year since arriving before the 2023-24 school year. Gage started as the Assistant Men's Basketball coach before taking on the Assistant Athletic Director role in 2024-25. He would then get the bump to Associate Head Men's Basketball coach before the 2025-26 season. Now in his fourth year, Gage will now be named the Director of Athletics and oversee the seven current varsity sports that are offered.

Gage had this to say about his new role, "I am humbled and grateful to be named the Director of Athletics at Manhattan Christian College. I am excited for the opportunity to serve and pour into these these student-athletes, coaches, and the college. Manhattan Christian College Athletics has a standard of excellence and the expectation is to compete at a high level and to win as we continue to glorify God in all we do. The athletic department's core values of faith, academics, excellence, and service and their mission align with who I am and we will continue to implement these with our student-athletes and coaches. I cannot wait for this opportunity to lead and put these student-athletes in a position to succeed in life. I want to say thank you to Lauren Sanders and Jordan Strom for believing in me and giving me a chance to grow the athletic department they built."

Athletic Director and National Champion Head Volleyball coach, Lauren Sanders, will now take over as the Assistant Athletic Director while continuing her Senior Women's Leader role. She will still keep the duties of NCCAA Eligibility and Compliance Coordinator as well. Sanders is going on her 22nd year at MCC where she has been both the Director of Athletics and Head Volleyball coach for the past four years. Coming off the 2025 NCCAA Division II National Championship, Sanders is currently three wins away from 500 career wins holding a 497-188 overall record at MCC.
