The Thunder men's basketball team closed out the 2025-26 season ranked #5 in the final postseason National Christian College Athletic Association Coaches Poll for DII Men's Basketball after going 1-1 at the NCCAA National Tournament. With a total of 37 points, the Thunder finish behind back-to-back national champion, North Central University, Crown College, Spurgeon College, and Bob Jones University. The Thunder are one of two teams from the Midwest Christian College Conference who are ranked, as Faith Baptist Bible College is ranked #6. The Thunder are also one of two teams ranked in the final postseason poll from the NCCAA Central Region.
