The Thunder women's basketball team opened their season with two games at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly, Missouri over the weekend. The Thunder would face the Free Lutheran Bible College Conquerors on Friday in their season opener. Each team fought down to the wire with the Conquerors hitting clutch free throws to close out the Thunder, 46-42.

On Saturday afternoon, the Thunder would take on the Grace Christian University Tigers to finish off the weekend. Another close game for the Thunder, but the Tigers would pull out the victory, 54-48.

The Thunder will have their home opener on Friday, November 8th against the Southwestern Adventist University Knights at 10:00 AM at Howie's Activity Center.
