Jeff Butler returns to his alma mater as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach in 22-23. Butler started his playing career for Nebraska Christian College and helped lead them to two Regional Championships (2019 & 2020) before transferring to Manhattan Christian College. Coach Butler graduated from Manhattan Christian College in 2022 with a degree in Business Ethics & Management. During his tenure as a coach at MCC Butler plans to earn his Master’s Degree at the University of Nebraska-Kearney in Kinesiology and Sports Science with an emphasis in coaching. Butler helped lead MCC to two conference tournament championships (2021 & 2022), along with a final four appearance and a third-place finish at the National Tournament. He finished his career with All-Conference and All-Region Honorable Mention selections along with shooting close to 40% from three. Coach Butler will spend his time involved in all aspects of the program, while focusing primarily on player development, scouting, on court coaching at practices along with recruiting.
