Recap: Men's Soccer Dominate, Shutout CCCB in Home Finale

Manhattan, Kan.

The Thunder men's soccer played their final home match of the season and dominated the Central Christian College of the Bible Saints in shutout fashion, 5-0. The Thunder would out shoot the Saints 20-2 and have 13 of those shots be on goal to the oppositions two. Junior, Chris Smith II would lead the offensive surge with a hat trick and an assist. Fellow junior, Lucas Kaneko would have a goal and an assist for the Thunder. The final scorer would be newcomer and sophomore, Dauntay King. Senior, goalkeeper, Hagan Dyer would get his third shutout of the season. With the shutout Midwest Christian College Conference victory, the Thunder move to 4-8-2 overall and 3-2-0 in the MCCC.

The Sons of Thunder will be on the road for their final three matches of the season starting with a NCCAA Central Region match against the Kansas Christian College Falcons on Monday, October 21st at 1:00 PM in Overland Park, Kansas.
