Recap: Men's Soccer Drop Close Match to Kansas Christian

Overland Park, Kan.

The Thunder men's soccer team went on the road to play their final NCCAA Central Region match against the Kansas Christian Falcons on Monday afternoon. The Thunder would lose a close match to the Falcons by a score of 1-0. The Falcons would score on an early first half PK and would hold the Thunder scoreless throughout the rest of the match. The Thunder drop to 4-9-2 overall and 2-5-2 in region play with the loss. The Thunder have clinched the #4 seed in the Central Region Tournament.

The Sons of Thunder will travel to Iowa to take on the #5 ranked, Emmaus University Eagles, and the Faith Baptist Bible College Eagles. The Thunder will be in Dubuque, Iowa on Friday, October 25th to take on Emmaus at 2:00 PM and in Ankeny, Iowa on Saturday, October 26th to take on Faith Baptist Bible at 4:00 PM.
