The men's soccer team traveled over to Haviland for their Midwest Christian College Conference opener against the Barclay College Bears and fell short, 3-1. After falling behind 3-0, the Thunder scored a late goal, but could not overcome the early deficit. The Thunder start MCCC play 0-1-0. Their next conference match will be on Friday, September 16th at Central Christian College of the Bible.

The Sons of Thunder will have a week before traveling to Missouri to face the Spurgeon College Knights on Friday, September 6th at 11:00 AM at Central Bank Sporting Complex in Kansas City, MO.
