Hannibal, Mo.

The Thunder men's soccer team took a trip to the state of Missouri to play two matches and came back 1-1. On Friday, the Thunder traveled to Moberly, Missouri to take on Midwest Christian College Conference foe, Central Christian College of the Bible. The Thunder would defeat the Saints, 1-0, to pick up their first MCCC win of the season. With the win, the Thunder move to 1-1-0 in conference play.

On Saturday, the Thunder traveled east to Hannibal, Missouri to battle with the Hannibal-LaGrange Trojans. Falling behind 3-0 in the first half, the Thunder could not build any momentum and would ultimately fall to the Trojans, 4-0. Khamani Matallah had two shots on goal, while Hagan Dyer and Jacob Bencze split time in goal and each had three saves.

The Sons of Thunder will start a string of nine straight home matches with a match against NCCAA Central Region rival, the Kansas Christian College Falcons, on Saturday, September 21st at 1:00 PM at Frank Anneberg Park.
