Recap: Women's Basketball Wins First Game of the Season; Miller Gets First Career Win as Thunder Head Coach

Lincoln, Neb.

The Thunder women's basketball team traveled to Lincoln, Nebraska to take on the Union Adventist University Warriors on Thursday night seeking their first win of the Dalton Miller era. The first three games for the Thunder have been decided by eight points or less each resulting in defeat. On Thursday night, the script would change as the Thunder would find a way to win and beat the Warriors by a score of 51-48 to secure the Thunder's first win of the season. This is the first career win for first year head coach Dalton Miller as the leader of the Thunder women's basketball program. With the win, the Thunder are now 1-3 overall and 1-0 in NCCAA Central Region play.

The Thunder will be on the road again for their next game on Monday, November 18th against the Randall University Saints. This game will tip-off at 5:00 PM in Moore, Oklahoma.
