Recap: Thunder Women's Basketball Defeats Grace Christian
The Thunder women's basketball team was finally back at home after over a month hiatus from playing in Manhattan. The Thunder would host Grace Christian University on Monday afternoon to try and extend their win streak to three. The Thunder would win their first Midwest Christian College Conference win on December 6th and then their first NCCAA Central Region win on December 9th to put them in position to get their third win in a row. In a close game to start, the Thunder would be behind 16-15 after one quarter, but would use a 13-6 second to take a six point lead into the half. A 42-35 game after three would make it a game headed into the fourth. The Thunder would take control early in the fourth and lead by as much as 13 to close out the Tigers, 54-44. With the victory, the Thunder now improve to 4-8 overall.
The Thunder will play their final home game of 2025 against Hesston College tomorrow at 4:00PM at the Howie's Activity Center.
