The Thunder volleyball team would face their third top-5 opponent in their last four matches with a Saturday morning contest with the Randall University Saints. The Thunder would be toppled by the #4 ranked Saints, 3-0, (20-25, 28-30, 23-25) to drop their second straight match. The Thunder were led by juniors, Liv Lubbers and Jacey Schurle who combined for 19 kills, three services aces, and six block assists. Josie Mehl had 27 assists, while Abby Blake paced the defense with 21 digs. With the defeat, the Thunder drop to 11-5 overall.

The Thunder will pick up Midwest Christian College Conference play with a match against the Barclay College Bears on Tuesday, October 8th at 6:00 PM on the campus of Barclay College in Haviland, Kansas.
