The Thunder volleyball team opened Midwest Christian College Conference play on the road at Calvary University and they would sweep the Warriors (25-14, 25-13, 25-20) to earn their first conference win of the season. The Thunder are 2-0 on the road this season and are now to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the MCCC.

The Thunder continue their road swing with a NCCAA Central Region match against the Spurgeon College Knights on Tuesday, September 10th at 6:00 PM at the Mathena Student Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
