Two Thunder Women's Basketball Players Represented on All-Conference Teams

Manhattan, Kan.

The Thunder women's basketball team finished fifth in the 2025 Midwest Christian College Conference Tournament this past weekend, and had some individual honors on the weekend as well. The Thunder had two players represented on the MCCC All-Conference teams. Junior, forward, Nekayla Williams would earn a second-team nod for the Thunder. Williams would play in all 12 regular season conference games, while starting in four. She would average 14.2 points per game, 6.4 rebounds per game, and shot 63.0% from the free throw line in conference games only. Freshman, guard, Macayla Hines would earn a honorable mention honor for the Thunder. Hines would play in 10 regular season conference games, while starting in eight. She would average 9.8 points per game on 37.1% shooting from the field and 31.8% shooting from the three-point line, to go along with 5.4 rebounds per game, 2.6 assists per game, and 1.6 steals per game in conference games only.

The Thunder will play in the NCCAA Central Region Tournament on Wednesday, February 26th against the host and two seed the Central Christian College of the Bible Saints. This game will be at 5:00 PM at the Ferneau Center in Moberly, Missouri.
