Thunder Women's Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule
Manhattan Christian College Athletics and Thunder Women's Basketball are excited to unveil the 2025-26 women's basketball schedule. The Thunder are coming off the first season of the Dalton Miller era. Miller increased the win total in year one from zero to 13 and the Thunder are ready to improve on that during the 2025-26 season. MCC finished with a 13-15 overall record, a 6-6 fifth place finish in the Midwest Christian College Conference, and advanced to the NCCAA Central Region Tournament Championship game in 2024-25.
Their season starts with at home with a match-up against NAIA opponent, Southwestern College, on Monday, October 27th. The Thunder will then travel to Hot Springs, Arkansas to compete in the Champion Classic against Dallas Christian College and Champion Christian. Before opening MCCC play, the Thunder will head back to the Faith Classic from November 20th-22nd to play three games against Trinity Bible College, Kuyper College, and Providence University College. The women's MCCC opener will be at a neutral site against Emmaus University on December 5th. On January 9th, the Thunder will battle Calvary University at home in a rematch of the 2025 NCCAA Central Region Championship. The Thunder have four non-conference and non-region games, besides the Champion and Faith Classic, set with Randall University (home-and-home), Grace Christian College, Kansas Christian College and Ecclesia College to boost their schedule. After an all-NCCAA schedule last season, the Thunder will play three NAIA teams and one NCAA Division II opponent.
The MCCC Women's Tournament will be hosted by Calvary University in Belton, Missouri from February 19th-21st. The NCCAA Central Region Women's Tournament will be held at a to be determined location from February 26th-28th. The NCCAA Women's National Tournament will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota from March 11th-14th at Crown College.
