Recap: Women's Basketball Falls on the Road to Randall

Moore, Okla.

The Thunder women's basketball team would be back on the road after their first win of the season last week. The Thunder would travel to Moore, Oklahoma to take on the Randall University Saints. The Thunder would fall to the Saints on Monday evening by a final score of 71-33. The Thunder were down eight after the first quarter and would be down 39-18 at the half. A second half struggle to score, where they would only score 15 points, would doom the Thunder. The Thunder were led by freshman, Macayla Hines who would score 13 points and junior, Nekayla Williams who had 12 points and six rebounds. The Thunder would shoot 25.0% from the field, 20.0% from the three-point line, and 38.5% from the free throw line. With the loss, the Thunder fall to 1-4 on the season.

The Thunder will head to Ankeny, Iowa to compete in the Faith Classic on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd. They will play the Trinity Bible College Lions on Friday at 1:00 PM and the Kuyper College Cougars on Saturday at 9:30 AM.
